Travels in 2019
1. Maldives, Apr 2019. A long weekend trip to Male and Himmafushi. Highlights: The coral mosques and the fish market in Male. The laid back, non-resort, kampung feel of Himmafushi plus a tour in some of the tuna factories on the island.
2. Ethiopia + Southern Africa, May-June 2019. A two weeks romp through the historic sites in the Abyssinian highlands: Lalibela, Gondar, Axum, Yeha and the rock-hewn churches of Tigray; Denakil Depression; Harar; Addis Ababa. A further week of visiting Southern Africa. Victoria Falls (Zambia and Zimbabwe), and Chobe National  Park (Botswana), and a quickie trip to Impalila island, Namibia. Rounding up the trip with Lusaka, Zambia.
